Management Conference FLOW, 28.01.2020
Venue: Ülemiste City, Öpik2 Conference Center, Valukoja 8, Tallinn, 28th of January, from 9:30 to 17:30
The main theme of the annual management conference 2020 of Estonian Association for Quality (EAQ) is FLOW – how can we ensure fluent and lean operation as well as high performance at the same time. We are approaching FLOW from different perspectives – starting from mindfulness and creative state of mind, customer journey offering excellent experience, aligned and agile work processes, harmonized management of supply and value chains up to circular economy and the changes in VUCA environment, which have high impact on everything we do. We are going to discuss how modern technology and digitalization opens new opportunities, but also creates new risks in a more complex and uncertain world.
Keynote Speakers:
Keynote speaker Gregory H. Watson (Business Excellence Solutions, Finland) takes us on a century-long journey with a look into the future in his speech 100 years in the Developing Flow of Profound Quality Knowledge. In addition, on 29 January he runs a workshop Managing Daily Work in Lean Organization: Combining Operational Flows with Resource Flows.
Willy Vandenbrande (Belgium) talks about agile quality, Christian Mayeur (France) about customer journey, Tani Järvinen (Finland) about circular economy. An EFQM representative gives an overview of the transformed EFQM Model and Thomas Iff (Switzerland) shares PostMail’s experience on their journey towards Excellence (2019 EFQM Global Excellence Award runner-up). Emöke Sogenbits (HANZA) talks about manufacturing challenges in VUCA world, Piret Jamnes (Fontes) about mindfulness and Katrin Alujev about the lightness of living.
Estonian finalists of the international competition Quality Innovation Award (QIA) 2019 are sharing their stories. In the end of the day we recognize the winners of QIA, Quality Deed 2019 & Quality Face 2019 as well as the Walter Masing Award.
