Ralph Thurm – a leading professional in sustainable innovation and strategy

With more than 20 years of experience in working for major corporations, industry federations, governments, NGOs and advisory services globally, Ralph has added value as a consultant, trainer, facilitator, moderator and writer on a huge variety of sustainability topics.
He is the Founder & Managing Director of A|HEAD|ahead, a management consultancy focused on sustainable transformation and strategic advisory. Ralph is a frequent blogger at www.aheadahead.wordpress.com, a very personal logbook on sustainable change.
„When I started this blog 2010 I never thought it’ll be that interesting to so many others. Given the fact that I am not ‘buzzing’ in the same way as other bloggers do and restrict myself to an (once or twice per month) essay-style that simply reflects my own way to structure my thoughts, keeps the group of readers limited – I thought. And was proven wrong. Thousands of hits last year show that there is interest in reading my blogs or using this site as a hub to link through to some ’More|HEADS|ahead’. Starting my own company and calling it A|HEAD|ahead was more than obvious somewhere in the middle of last year,” Ralph himself states.
Ralph still holds a position as Associate Director Collaborative Sustainability & Innovation at Deloitte. Also, Ralph has accepted a role as Managing Director of the Katerva Diagnostics and member of the Expert Panel on Behavioral Change a Katerva, as member of the jury of the Arabia CSR Awards, as Lead Trainer of GRI-certified training at the Arabia CSR Network, and as a Board Member of the Global Compact Netherlands and the Turntoo Foundation. Furthermore, A|HEAD|ahead is a partner of the ThriveAbility Consortium, together with Renaissance2 and 5Deep, set up to build the future agenda for the nexus around sustainability, innovation, behavior and design.
